The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) research group in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is at the forefront of advancing machine learning theory and applications. Our research spans fundamental topics such as machine learning theory, reinforcement learning, large language models, diffusion models, and efficient hardware-software co-design. We also explore cutting-edge applications of AI/ML in robotics, wireless communication systems, signal processing and compression, hardware security, chip design and optimization, communication networks, and biology.
Through interdisciplinary collaborations and state-of-the-art innovations, our group is shaping the future of intelligent and autonomous systems.
