Students in this program study the fundamentals of subsea hardware, subsea controls and umbilical systems, subsea riser systems, flowlines and pipelines. This degree is flexible, allowing students to tailor their course selections to their interests.
The guiding premise of this degree program is to provide practical knowledge of the subsea engineering discipline from instructors who are teaching from experience. The courses are taught by industry professionals who became successful in the oil and gas industry prior to becoming professors of practice.
This program is offered on campus and online.
The College also offers a Master of Engineering in Engineering with a focus on subsea engineering, which is a non-thesis option. The Master of Science option requires a thesis and defense.
