Texas A&M Engineering’s graduate program ranked 11th overall and seventh among public institutions in the latest U.S. News & World Report survey, “America’s Best Graduate Schools 2017.” The current overall ranking is an improvement of one spot from last year’s rankings.
Individual programs ranked were: aerospace engineering, 10 (7 public); agricultural engineering 3 (3); biomedical engineering 37 (19); chemical engineering 26 (16); civil engineering 12 (8); computer engineering 23 (13); electrical engineering 19 (11); industrial engineering 15 (9); materials 45 (27); mechanical engineering 16 (8); nuclear engineering 3 (2); and petroleum engineering 2 (2).
Computer science, which is ranked in the Sciences category, was 40th nationally and 23rd among public institutions.
