Dr. Early and Noel Denison 66 have established the Noel and Early Denison 66 Scholarship in mechanical engineering. The scholarship will provide one or more scholarships to full-time students in good standing pursuing an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University.
Early is a retired consultant in offshore drilling. He previously worked for Shell Oil Company and for the ExxonMobil Corporation. He received a bachelors of science in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M in 1966 and his masters and doctoral degrees in mechanical engineering from Purdue University.
Early and his wife Noel have three children and live in Houston. His sons, Early 96 and Marc 99 both received degrees from Texas A&M.
The Denisons have been long time supporters of the university with a history of giving to both the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Association of Former Students.
