Dr. Krzysztof A. Michalski, associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University, has been elevated to Life Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
The Life Fellow designation is a special honor reserved for individuals who have truly distinguished themselves through their sustained and lasting contributions to IEEE.
Michalski was first elevated to the IEEE Fellow grade in 2000 for the development of numerical solution methods in electromagnetic scattering, antennas and microwave circuits.
Michalski’s research interests include numerical and analytical methods for the solution of electromagnetic boundary value problems, with emphasis on field interaction with plane-stratified media. His recent honors include winning the 2015 IEEE Antenna and Propagation Sergei A. Schelkunoff Transactions Prize Paper Award.
