Betty G. and Amos C. White ’72 have been active supporters of the Artie McFerrin Department of Chemical Engineering and Texas A&M University for more than 30 years. Their most recent gift has established the Betty and Craig White ’72 Scholarship, which provides financial assistance to students pursuing an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Texas A&M.
Amos graduated in 1972 with a chemical engineering degree from Texas A&M and is the director of engineering at Fluor Daniel Incorporated. He and his wife live in Sugar Land, Texas. They have a daughter, Kristin, who graduated from Texas A&M in 2003.
