A presentation titled “The High Entropy Alloy Space Is Not as Big as We Think It Is” by Dr. Raymundo Arroyave, professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University, has been selected by The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS) as an American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers (AIME)-TMS anniversary keynote.
Arroyave’s talk was initially presented at the TMS 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting & Exhibition (TMS2021 Virtual), March 15-18. TMS2021 Virtual marked the kick off of a year-long celebration of the shared 150th anniversary of TMS and its antecedent organization AIME. Only two TMS2021 virtual talks were selected from each of TMS’s five technical divisions for this special designation as an AIME-TMS anniversary keynote.
The AIME-TMS anniversary keynotes are a special highlight of the AIME-TMS anniversary year, which will continue through the TMS 2022 Annual Meeting & Exhibition from February 27–March 3, 2022 in Anaheim, California.
