Established in 1996, the Regents Professor Awards recognize employees within the Texas A&M University System who have made preeminent contributions to their university or agency and Texas communities.
Five faculty members from the College of Engineering at Texas A&M University have been selected for this prestigious award, which is the highest honor a faculty member can receive in the Texas A&M University System. The system includes a statewide network of 11 universities, a comprehensive health science center, eight state agencies, Texas A&M-Fort Worth and Texas A&M-RELLIS.
“These faculty exemplify the incredible talent in the College of Engineering,” said Dr. Robert Bishop, dean of the Texas A&M College of Engineering. "We are grateful for the contributions of these exceptional faculty and all they do to advance the work of Texas A&M throughout Texas.”
