Ocean engineering connects the world - bringing together a multidisciplinary group of researchers to help solve global issues. Some of our department research includes ocean system simulation, coastal engineering research and design, off-shore-energy (oil and gas, and renewables), naval architecture, and underwater robotics.

The department offers a great selection of courses, with excellent professors who are highly engaged with students. The graduate community is very friendly, often discussing academic and extracurricular topics together and always willing to help.
