Programs and Opportunities

The Engineering Village @ The Commons is a residential experience for students who are enrolled in the College of Engineering. RAs and peer mentors are available to provide on-site academic and social support to students who live in the community.

Enhance the value of your degree by going beyond the traditional engineering curriculum through our certificate programs. And if you're a high achieving student looking for an extra challenge, try the Engineering Honors Program.

First-generation students are the first in their families to attend a formal university-level degree program (or earn a degree). The First Generation Engineering Mentorship (FGEn) program is dedicated to helping first-generation students navigate university life by pairing students with peer mentors.

There are numerous engineering student organizations within the College of Engineering. From general engineering organizations to department-focused organizations, there's something for everyone.

The SEAS program supports undergraduate engineering students by creating learning communities, designing high-impact educational experiences, and offering unique, relevant professional development opportunities that cultivate retention.

First-year students will participate in Hullabaloo U – Texas A&M’s first-year experience course. Participation in a Hullabaloo U section equips first-year students to achieve academic and personal goals, take advantage of campus resources, develop community and a sense of belonging, and contribute to our Aggie community.
